Equalizer APO is a graphic equalizer that lets you modify the sound output coming out of any audio device installed on a Windows-based PC. There are two kinds of equalizers available in it, namely an equalizer whose frequency value has been set (15 bands and 31 bands), and an equalizer whose frequency value is a variable that can be changed.

Usability and Installation of APO Equalizer

If necessary, Equalizer APO also lets you create several equalizers with different settings. Maybe the first equalizer you aim to increase bass, while the second equalizer to clear the sound. Each equalizer can be activated and deactivated with an on/off button so you can switch from one equalizer to the equalizer as needed.
To use it, Equalizer APO must first be installed on the audio device you have through the Configurator window that appears during installation.
Inside the window are two tabs which include Playback Devices and Capture Devices which display a list of audio devices on your computer such as headphones and speakers. Put a checkmark for all the devices you want, then click the OK button to confirm and continue the installation of Equalizer APO until it is complete.
At the end of the installation process you will be given two options, Reboot Now to restart the computer right then and there or Reboot Later to restart the computer at a later time. If you want to try Equalizer APO right away, then choose Reboot Now.
To run Equalizer APO, you have to find its installation folder in Program Files. Then you can create an Equalizer APO shortcut on the desktop to make it easier for you to run it whenever you need it.

By default there are already three configuration tabs inside the main window of Equalizer APO. You can play around with them or create your own configuration tab from scratch and add filters like preamp, notch, low shelf, high shelf, and loudness.
