It’s rumored that Apple is releasing its latest big update for Mac, macOS 11 Big Sur.<\/p>\n
While the rest of this year’s big update rolled out last month, the Cupertino company is holding back on macOS a little, so it could roll out alongside the new ARM64 MacBook and Mac mini, which were announced earlier this week.<\/p>\n
But while there is a ton of new for everyone, perhaps its biggest feature is ARM64 support.<\/p>\n
This is the first time Apple has switched to a new CPU architecture since moving to Intel in 2006. Now, Apple uses its own custom ARM64 processor.<\/p>\n
Then there’s also a complete visual overhaul, like a transparent layer. It also brings Control Center to macOS for the first time, and adds a new iOS 14 style widget to the newly redesigned Notification Center.<\/p>\n
And of course, it comes with app improvements in iOS 14, like improvements in Messages, Maps, and more.<\/p>\n

Then after a week since Apple released iOS 14.2, it’s time to start testing the updates it offers.<\/p>\n

The only thing missing is a new beta for macOS 11, although for macOS Big Sur it was only released yesterday.<\/p>\n
According to the Neowin report, sometimes notes on a page at Apple Developers, it often happens on the site that the word ‘Page Not Found’ appears. As 9to5Mac demonstrated, it could include support for the ProRAW features that were announced at the iPhone event last October.<\/p>\n
In fact, it’s not uncommon for features not to appear at the start of a major release, but to appear at the end of the year.<\/p>\n
