Enjoy the biggest Safari update ever. Find new features for Maps and Messages. And get more transparency around your privacy, \u201dhe said of what&#8217;s new in MacOS Big Sur.<\/p>\n<h2>MacOS Big Sur&#8217;s new features<\/h2>\n<p>In this operating system, the dock containing the application icons remains at the bottom of the screen, typical of OS for Mac. MacOS Big Sur also provides a new look for Control Center, so that the Do Not Disturb feature, keyboard brightness can be accessed via the menu bar.<\/p>\n<h3>Safari<\/h3>\n<p>For the Safari browser, Mac devices using the <a href=\"https:\/\/matob.web.id\/news\/get-to-know-apple-m1-intels-replacement-arm-chip-in-the-latest-macbook\/\">Apple M1 chip<\/a> will be 1.5 times faster when opening JavaScript. Big Sur also promises javaScript to be twice as responsive.<\/p>\n<p>Apple has also revamped tabs for Safari in that more tabs appear and include previews when hovering over tabs.<\/p>\n<p>The latest Safari is also equipped with integrated translation features (built-in) in seven languages, the browser can immediately translate the entire content of the page.<\/p>\n<h3>Messages<\/h3>\n<p>The messaging feature on Mac is now equipped with new tools, such as a &#8220;conversation pin&#8221; to mark messages so that they are at the top.<\/p>\n<p>Messages are also synchronized between Mac devices with iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.<\/p>\n<p>To make texting feel more personal, Big Sur also provides Messages a feature to decorate messages with homemade emojis.<\/p>\n<p>Messages also gets new features for groups, for example for family and friends, which allows you to directly reply to messages in threads.<\/p>\n<h3>Maps<\/h3>\n<p>The new Maps application has a Guides feature, to provide guidance to places like restaurants to tourist attractions.<\/p>\n<p>While in the Look Around feature, users can see the desired place in a 360 degree image.<\/p>\n<p>Maps in Big Sur will also feature navigation routes for bicycles and electric scooters, which can be sent directly to the iPhone.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the devices that can run the latest Apple macOS 11 Big Sur operating system.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12-inch MacBook (2015 and later)<\/li>\n<li>MacBook Air (2013 and newer)<\/li>\n<li>MacBook Pro (Late 2013 and newer)<\/li>\n<li>Mac mini (2014 and later)<\/li>\n<li>iMac (2014 and newer)<\/li>\n<li>iMac Pro (all models)<\/li>\n<li>Mac Pro (2013 and later)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are the latest features of the macOS 11 Big Sur operating system released by Apple.
