Information-carrying light<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This is the origin of the fiber optic communication system. Light, a natural component that has many advantages is used so cleverly to carry data at very high speeds and bandwidths. All the advantages of light as if used here.\u00a0High-speed light, light that is immune to interference, light that can travel far, you will feel everything by using this fiber optic media.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. Optical Transmitter (Transmitter)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1126\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1126\" style=\"width: 320px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1126\" src=\"https:\/\/matob.web.id\/random\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Examples-of-Optical-Transmitter.jpg\" alt=\"Examples of Optical Transmitter\" width=\"320\" height=\"128\" title=\"\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1126\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Examples of Optical Transmitter<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Optical transmitter is a component whose job is to transmit light signals into the carrier medium.\u00a0In this component there is a process of converting analog and digital electronic signals into a form of light signals.\u00a0This signal then serves as a correspondence signal for your data.\u00a0Optical transmitters are physically very close to fiber optic media in their use.\u00a0And even the optical transmitter is equipped with a lens that will focus light into the optical fiber media.\u00a0The light source of this component can vary.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1125\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1125\" style=\"width: 314px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1125\" src=\"https:\/\/matob.web.id\/random\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Example-OLT-Optical-Line-Terminal.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"314\" height=\"320\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/matob.web.id\/random\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Example-OLT-Optical-Line-Terminal.jpg 314w, https:\/\/matob.web.id\/random\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Example-OLT-Optical-Line-Terminal-60x60.jpg 60w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 314px) 100vw, 314px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1125\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Example OLT (Optical Line Terminal)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The light source that is usually used is a <em>Light Emitting Diode (LED)<\/em> or solid state laser diode.\u00a0Light sources that use LEDs consume less power than lasers.\u00a0But as a consequence, the light emitted by the LED cannot travel as far as the laser.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Fiber optic Core Cable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This component is the main actor in this system.\u00a0Fiber optic cores usually consist of one or more optical fibers that will serve to guide the light from its original location to its destination.\u00a0The fiber optic core is almost similar in construction to an electric cable, it&#8217;s just that there is a little extra protection to protect light transmission.\u00a0Usually fiber optic cables can also be connected, but with a very complicated process.\u00a0The process of splicing this cable is often referred to as splicing.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1127\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1127\" style=\"width: 320px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1127 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/matob.web.id\/random\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Fiber-optic-Core-Cable.jpg\" alt=\"Fiber optic Core Cable\" width=\"320\" height=\"219\" title=\"\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1127\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fiber optic Core Cable<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>4. Optical regenerator \/ amplifier \/ repeater<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Optical regenerator or light signal amplifier is actually a component that doesn&#8217;t need to be there when you use fiber optic media at close range. The light signal that you send will only degrade within approximately 50 km.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1128\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1128\" style=\"width: 320px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1128\" src=\"https:\/\/matob.web.id\/random\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/09\/Optical-regenerator-amplifier-repeater.jpg\" alt=\"Optical regenerator amplifier repeater\" width=\"320\" height=\"266\" title=\"\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1128\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Optical regenerator \/ amplifier \/ repeater<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Therefore, if you do play remotely, this component becomes the main component as well.\u00a0Usually the optical generator is connected in the middle of the fiber optic media to further amplify weak signals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
