AnalyticDB, a cloud-native data warehouse developed by Alibaba Cloud, processing up to 7.7 trillion rows of data in real-time. This is the equivalent of 15x the data of all UK Web Archives in the British Library.
In addition, PolarDB-X (a distributed version of PolarDB) and AnalyticDB helped China Post handle more than 100 million orders during 11.11, during which about 100,000 China Post customers checked package status online and in real-time.
In 2020, Gartner predicts that 75% of databases will migrate to cloud platforms. Alibaba Cloud also saw the development of a similar trend, where the DBMS request belongs Alibaba Cloud doubled from last year.
